For those new to the Philadelphia Agile Community or Just wanting to learn more about Agile, Scrum or Project Management, I created this simple post to share. There are new agile forums opening on a regular basis. I also recommend joining www.meetup.com as there are many groups in the Philadelphia area that are tech, agile and IT related.
Agile:
Agile Philly
They hold meetings about once a month with half the meetings occurring in the suburbs and the other half downtown. This group is a part of the Scrum Alliance User Group and meeting attendees can collect Scrum Educational Units (SEU).
Agile Delaware

They hold meetings about every 3 or 4 months typically in the suburbs usually at Tredyffrin Public Library, 582 Upper Gulph Road, Strafford, PA. They have pretty good testing presentations. I actually won a book. The answer to the question was Blue.
Automated Testing Philadelphia

They hold meetings about every couple of months downtown.
Agile Uprising Coalition!

This a new group forming.
Not Sure if these are still active:
Agile Power Alliance
Update you have to connect with the PSU Great Valley instructor (Jay Polakoff) to get the notices. They meet quarterly. http://gv.psu.edu/CE/33759.htm
They hold meetings off and on in the suburbs of Philly, typically near PSU Great Valley. I’m not sure how stable this group is, but it does not hurt to join. This group is a part of the Scrum Alliance User Group and meeting attendees can collect Scrum Educational Units (SEU).
