– Typical Duties: Scrum Master for Integration and Business Tools Team (USA, Ireland & India) transitioning from waterfall to Agile/Scrum. The team worked with SAP Hybris and integrated with a 7 year old SAP custom system. Created virtual, as well as, physical Sprint Boards.
• Ran Daily Scrums, Retrospectives and Demos for three week Sprints/iterations.
• Managed the teams using Jira and Zephyr Testing management software
— Created PO, Daily Scrum and Scrum Master Dashboards in Jira to help get things Done

– Typical Duties: Delivery Manager for new Comcast TV and IP products. Program Manager for the Agile Transformation of the Comcast Business Services internal Information Technology (Business for Business) tasked to assist in the transformation from waterfall to SAFeAgile and Scrum.  Used Scrum and agile tools to develop Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) displays to provide business value to managers and their Agile Teams.  Displayed organization progress in Story Points, hours and dollars as they related to Sprints, Iterations and Releases for the Business internal operations with OBIEE Dashboards from data derived from RallyDev. Lead the team as Scrum Master. Manage new and in-flight software IT projects in support of business operations.

• Ran Daily Scrums, Retrospectives and Demos every two weeks and, for some, monthly iterations.
• Developed 6 month iteration plans as a PO and alongside other POs. Groomed Backlogs every two weeks and adjusted priorities weekly. Provided weekly status reports directors and above
• Developed Mockups with Balsamiq, MS Excel and Powerpoint
• Developed Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) dashboards to track Agile Team performance.

– Promoted to Agile Transformation Program Manager for SAFe Agile implementation

– Developed 15 new metric dashboards in 4 months and connected OBIEE to RallyDev, so managers could use the power of RallyDev without bringing the entire RallyDev product into the Oracle database.

10/2013 – 8/2014, Project Manager,  Worldgate,llc.  Philadelphia, PA

– Typical Duties: Implementing new IT projects which utilize MicroStrategy Business Intelligence (BI) tools to analyze Oracle data into manageable Executive Decision Tools for a large customer in the Philadelphia area via a combination of agile and project management techniques. Ran daily scrum meetings, created agile and waterfall schedules, developed charters, communicated with the customer and communicated with the lead subcontractor / developer of the main software package.  Lead documentation of software developed for use by the customer and to assist in any personnel transition on the team. Lead team assembly, development and resource planning with roles and responsibilities, position descriptions and training plans. Teach team members new techniques in report generation and documentation.

Achievements:

– Planned release of a 2,400 page report on 10 March 2013 via the new BI Tool.

– Startup of the operations < 30 days, after the initial team assembled declined the positions.

– Applied Scrum Coaching to website designs & taught Scrum techniques to local govt.

– Typical Duties: Managed engineering, software and supporting functional areas with Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Agile and Scrum Methodologies where appropriate, scheduling, communications internally and externally to ensure scope, budget, technical and schedule meet the contractual and customer expectations. Developed Value Engineering Change Proposals (VECP). Lead teams across country with daily standups and communication software, as well as site visits. Manage distributed teams.

Achievements:

– 2009-13 Secured over $4M for Electronics Obsolescence Management planning. Turned around cancelled Program into a service for multiple customer platforms and being praised by the customer.

– Created Obsolescence Management Plan for the Army’s Bradley & Paladin Fleet Portfolio thru 2021.

– 2011 Coordinated and authored the Bradley Industrial Base Status 2011 Report for the U.S. Army.

– Awarded $5.2M Hardware/Software Obsolescence, Space, Weight and Power contract & managed software changes with Agile techniques.

– 2009-10 – Managed $24M in various projects to work as Program and applying Agile Methodologies and product iterations based on values, quality and verification: Vehicle Health Management Systems software diagnostics, Smart Display Computers w/Touch Screen and new Interfaces and data.

– 2007-9, Deputy/Assistant Program Manager for the $22M program, coordinating software development, manufacturing, subcontractors, vehicle assembly and testing on site and in the field, while managing communications among engineering (matrixed at 50 plus full time heads) and managers.

– Managed project for the President/Owner including implementing new inventory management system.

– Proudest achievement: Redesigning factory manufacturing operations so the supervisors could go home after 10 hours and not the 14 hours per day previously the normal operations.

12/2004 – 10/2005, 3PL Warehouse Supervisor New Breed Logistics, Swedesboro, NJ

– This business managed Boeing’s 3rd party logistics warehouse (200K Sq. Ft.) operation for the V-22 and H-47 rotor wing military aircraft produced in the Philadelphia plant. Oversaw 30-45 warehousing and back office personnel

– Completed 3 Start-up Operations: Production, Spares and Government Property Units, including: packaging, containerization, warehousing operations and ISO 9001 certifications

– Developed web and SQL programs to data mine and supply operational statistics and traceability.

10/1994 – 5/2002, Project and General Engineer Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, PA

– General project engineer for the Navy.  Managed over 40 design projects.

– Won funding for and managed a $705K Radio Frequency Identification (RFI) AIT Design and Implementation Project. Delivered deployable product in 9 months. Presented project to the Under Secretary of the US Navy, The Honorable Susan Morrisey Livingstone.

– Developed 1st container project cost database to monitor progress and to predict future acquisition costs, actual savings $200,000 of a $1.3M contract, projected another $200,000 savings.

– Metrics lead, logistical and technical advisor for a working group team tasked to data mine and redesign the flow of over 400,000 items worth over $1.5 BB from all U.S. Navy activities.

1/1995 – 7/1995, Systems Engineer Naval Air Headquarters, Washington, DC

– Worked directly under the System Engineer for the New F/A-18E/F model Fighter/Attack Aircraft multi-billion dollar program under development with Boeing/McDonnell Douglas.

– Coordinated the $8B, F/A-18E/F Specification between over 100 engineers.

– Monitored and analyzed the $4B F/A-18E/F Contract by using Cost and Schedule Performance Reports.

– Helped prepare for and coordinate efforts for Roll-out and First Fight of the F/A-18E/F Aircraft.

7/1991 – 1/1995, Mechanical Engineer Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, PA

– Developed new sources for aircraft spares. Reviewed technical data packages, manufacturing procedures, quality plans and conducted quality inspections of suppliers. Saved over $20M.

– Developed interactive and proactive proposal tracking software that would alert managers on approvals

– Developed 1st Fatigue database to track fatigue components.
